Milton GYW - Black

The Milton GYW from Sebago is a plain derby shoe built entirely in black leather, from the upper down to the sole. It belongs to Sebago's Goodyear welted line, the construction the brand builds around durability and the ability to be resoled rather than replaced when the sole wears through.

The upper and lining are both full leather, with a corrected grain finish on the outside, and the sole is natural leather finished with a moulded rubber heel for grip and extra wear resistance. Goodyear welt construction stitches the upper, lining and sole together around a welt strip rather than gluing them, which is what makes the shoe flexible and repairable over time. The plain toe and lace-up front keep the shape clean, so it works with a suit as easily as with chinos or dark denim on a more casual day.
