Original P204 Pony Leather for NBH - Light blue

The Original P204 is Padmore and Barnes' signature moccasin, a style the Kilkenny shoemaker has built since the 1960s and one that played a part in the early development of the Clarks Wallabee. This pair is a colourway made specifically for NBH, finished in a light blue pony leather with the natural hair left on the hide, so no two pairs share the exact same marking or pile.

Construction follows Padmore and Barnes' usual method: the shoe is hand lasted and hand stitched on their own Nature Form last, with a two eyelet bellows tongue, an elasticated lace, and a plantation crepe sole underneath. The moccasin toe seam sits low and the crepe softens with wear, so the shoe settles in around your foot over the first few weeks. Because pony hair reads differently depending on the light, it works best kept simple, worn with washed denim, cotton trousers, or a plain knit, letting the texture and the pale blue tone do the talking.
