Originally conceived in 1947 for architect Le Corbusier, the Forestière jacket draws inspiration from the traditional French gamekeeper’s coat. Recognisable by its distinct mandarin collar and utilitarian pocket layout, it has long been adored by the Left Bank intelligentsia and the free-thinking Parisian bobo community — valued for its balance of function and understated elegance.
This updated interpretation remains faithful to the spirit of the original while refining the silhouette for a more contemporary line. Cut from robust Japanese moleskin cotton and lined in a breathable cotton–linen blend, it offers durability, structure and all-day comfort. Practical details include three patch-and-flap pockets on the front, two internal pockets, and adjustable cuffs, making it as functional in the city as in the field.
