The Drake's Indigo Denim Lined Chore Jacket takes the classic workwear chore coat and reworks it in heavyweight Japanese denim, a staple shape from the brand's archive built out with Drake's own detailing.
The jacket is cut from a 13.7oz Japanese denim woven on shuttle looms in Okayama, naturally dyed and washed for a broken-in handle from the first wear. It's fully lined in a checked Japanese cotton drawn from Drake's shirting archive, and finished with rivet buttons and adjustable cuffs. The cut keeps the generous, slightly boxy proportions of early-twentieth-century chore jackets, with three outer pockets and two inner pockets for everyday carry.
Wear it open over a knit for an easy layer, or buttoned up as a standalone jacket through the colder months. Style it with denim or wool trousers for a considered workwear look.
