Founded in Arnhem in 2017, Neighbourhood is more than a menswear store.

It is a carefully curated world where clothing, art, craftsmanship and atmosphere come together. A place for men who appreciate quality, character and thoughtful design.

What started as an independent menswear store has evolved into a destination where clothing is approached with the same attention as art. A place built around craftsmanship, culture, creativity and the appreciation of things made to last.

Everything begins with attention. Attention to materials, silhouettes, colours, textures, provenance and the way garments are made. Every collection, object, image, piece of music and detail within our world is selected with intention.

Not driven by trends.

But by timeless style, craftsmanship and authenticity.

In a world of speed, overconsumption and endless online choices, we create a place where men can slow down. A place where quality takes precedence over quantity. Where history, materials and craftsmanship are valued as much as the finished product itself.

Meet the Founders

Neighbourhood was founded by Pim Wiggers in 2017 with a simple belief: clothing should be approached with care, curiosity and respect for craftsmanship.

A year later, in 2018, Dianne walked into the store for the first time.

At that moment she was working for a large fashion company, but it quickly became clear that this was more than a visit. There was an immediate connection through a shared passion for clothing, creativity and storytelling.

What started as a conversation became a love story, and eventually a partnership in every sense of the word. Together, we built a family, a life and the world that Neighbourhood has become today.

Since then, we have been shaping Neighbourhood together. Not simply as a store, but as a place where clothing, art, atmosphere and culture come together.

Dianne brings a broad background in fashion, with years of experience in sales, visual merchandising, styling and product development. Her eye naturally gravitates towards details, composition and atmosphere. Growing up in a family of artists and poets, creativity has always been part of her world. She approaches Neighbourhood with the same sensitivity she has for art: through colour, balance, emotion and storytelling. Today, she is responsible for much of the visual identity, creative direction and the atmosphere that defines the Neighbourhood experience.

Pim's expertise lies in product knowledge, craftsmanship and timeless menswear. Having built years of experience at The Globe, the iconic Arnhem menswear store of family friend Harry Wonder, Pim developed an exceptional understanding of quality, craftsmanship and the stories behind the products. He is often described as a walking encyclopedia when it comes to clothing, fabrics and heritage brands. His ability to recognise emerging movements within menswear, while remaining grounded in timeless style, continues to shape the collections we curate today.

Together, we share a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, authenticity and products that are made with integrity. We believe clothing should not be disposable, but something that gains character over time and becomes part of a person's story.

But above all, Neighbourhood is built around family.

Together with our two daughters, Leda and Moné, creativity, curiosity and imagination are part of everyday life. Whether through art, photography, music, nature or the simple joy of discovering something new, they remind us daily to keep looking at the world with fresh eyes. Their energy and creativity continue to inspire the way we live, create and build Neighbourhood.
