Padmore and Barnes

Padmore and Barnes is a brand we want to keep building at Neighbourhood because it sits in a softer part of footwear. The moccasin language gives the shoes an ease that feels different from a sneaker, loafer or boot: relaxed, handmade in feeling, and slightly informal even when the material has character.

For the Arnhem store, the P204 shape matters because it collapses the usual line between shoe and slipper without becoming either. The upper has a soft volume, the sole gives enough ground, and the moccasin construction makes the outline feel warmer than a clean dress shoe. It is the kind of footwear that changes the mood of trousers immediately.

That is why Padmore and Barnes belongs beside our more relaxed shoes. It offers comfort without looking technical and craft without looking precious.
