Cullu Overshirt - Fuzzy violet

The Cullu Overshirt from A Kind of Guise is a boxy-cut overshirt in a fuzzy violet colourway, cut from a heavyweight Italian wool blend with a rich melange surface. It works as an easy layering piece through the colder months, with enough weight and structure to wear as a light jacket on its own.

The fabric is brushed for a soft, lofty handfeel, a blend of wool, polyester, polyamide and alpaca wool from Italy, made up in Portugal. The cut is slightly boxy through the shoulder and body, leaving room to layer a shirt or knit underneath. A spread collar, wide button placket with horn buttons, side slits and adjustable cuffs give the piece its shape and keep it easy to wear open or buttoned through.

Wear it buttoned up as a shirt jacket over a tee, or open over knitwear when the temperature drops.

The jewellery 

Giel, styled for our studio session.

For this look, we combined pieces from atelier Neighbourhood and a Kind of Guise with jewellery by Minouche & Rûne.

The look is completed with a baroque freshwater pearl necklace in soft cream, champagne and pale pink tones, featuring a 14k gold magnet clasp.

The jewellery is further layered with a wide, organically molded 14k gold bracelet, an irregular 14k gold ring with distinctive melted edges, and a rose cut brown diamond of 0.08 ct set in 22k gold.
